Humanitarian Demining
Humanitarian Demining – Restoring safety and a future for our land
The goal of the project "Raising funds for humanitarian demining"
We are launching a fundraising campaign to implement this project, and your help is extremely important to us. The funds raised will be used to:
- Training and certification of demining specialists so they can work in accordance with international safety standards.
- Purchase of specialized equipment for effective and safe cleanup of the territories.
- Creating infrastructure to support demining, including procurement of technical equipment and materials for operations.
We have an ambitious goal of raising $100,000 to get this important project off the ground and implement the first stages of work.
Estimated timeframe for project implementation by the end of 2025.
War leaves behind not only physical destruction but also dangers that continue to threaten the lives of civilians. Since territories where combat took place are often contaminated with explosive remnants, ensuring safety for local communities becomes a vital step toward recovery.
We have chosen one of the most critical missions – humanitarian demining of contaminated territories. Together with international partners, we plan to create an effective and safe system for clearing the land of mines, ammunition, and other explosive remnants of war. This will not only ensure safety but also restore normal life for people who have lost their homes.
We are at the very beginning of this important journey. Currently, our goal is to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and certification to become official humanitarian demining operators. To achieve this, we need to undergo training, recruit qualified specialists, and procure specialized equipment that meets international standards.
This process requires significant resources and time, but we are confident that we can reach our goal, as every step in this direction brings us closer to creating a safe environment for those affected by the war.
